Mindful Minds: Sensory Lab - Winford (Billingual)

Our Mindful Minds: Sensory Lab after-school club at Winford is a calm, nurturing and engaging programme designed especially for children aged 4–8 years. The club runs daily from 13:00–17:00 (4 hours) and includes a full afternoon of planned activities, indoor and outdoor play, and snacks provided.

Each session is based around a seasonal theme, encouraging children to explore what they see, feel, and experience—both physically and emotionally. Children are introduced to the theme through stories, games, songs, colours and discussion.

The afternoon includes hands-on sensory play using tough trays and carefully planned activities that support creativity, curiosity and fine motor development. We also build in mindfulness moments, such as colouring, simple yoga and breathing exercises, helping children relax and regulate after a busy school day.

Time is balanced between structured activities and free play, with opportunities to play both indoors and outdoors. Sessions end with a calm wind-down and preparation for home time.

The programme runs in seasonal blocks of up to 12 lessons with all activities age-appropriate, inclusive and delivered in a safe, supportive environment. Winford Bilingual Stream dates include;
